Abstract

The Chairmen, Senate Committee on Appropriations and Subcommittee on Defense of the House Committee on Appropriations, asked GAO to review the military services justifications for their fiscal year 1989 budget requests for ammunition and the Armys request for modernizing and expanding the ammunition production base.
