Development of ultrafast Electronic-Raman 2D spectroscopy

Abstract

The PI has had good success at accomplishing their research objectives for this grant. They were able to combining the pulse shaper assisted 2D spectroscopic method and FSRS to create 2DER spectroscopy that follows the dynamics of vibrational Raman modes of chromophores and correlates them to the initial electronic excitation wavelength. This grant provided financial support for a postdoc on the program. Two peer reviewed papers were a direct result of this grant award. Additionally, the PI was able to present this work at several optics conferences.
