Collaborative Research to Optimize Warfighter Nutrition III (CROWN III)

Abstract

The Collaborative Research to Optimize Warfighter Nutrition (CROWN) III project is a series of 5 projects that use nutrition, metabolism and human physiology to address objectives relevant to the nutritional health of military personnel. Scientists at Pennington Biomedical Research Center and the Military Nutrition Division at the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine are collaborating on the design, execution and analysis of the 5 research projects that fall within three topic areas: Operational Stress and Nutritional Requirements; Nutrition, Inflammation and Resiliency; and Healthy Eating and Behavior.
