Conference Sponsorship Proposal: Tenth International Conference on Social Computing, Behavioral-Cultural Modeling, and Prediction (SBP)

Abstract

Social Computing, Behavioral-Cultural Modeling, and Prediction (SBP) conference is a platform for bringing together researchers from a wide variety of disciplines in this rapidly developing area of research to interact, discuss and disseminate on research issues that are central to its progress and to encourage new collaborations that are essential to its steady development and healthy evolution. Efforts supported under the grant helped advance the mission of the conference, i.e., increasing participation from students,early-career researchers, under-represented disciplines in the area of social computing. More importantly, in several cases, the recipients of the travel support return to the conference in subsequent years, strengthening the research community. The conference has produced proceedings with Springer and special issues in the journal of Computational and Mathematical Organizational The my. Proceedings are uploaded on AMRDEC and special issues will be shared as soon as they are published. Conference proceedings are also available on Springer's website.
