Financial Readiness Personal Assistant for Learning (FR-PAL)
Abstract
This report describes the full cycle of contracted activities for design, development, testing, and transition of a financial readiness micro-learning mobile app training tool called Sen$e, from the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) initiative's R and D activity to the co-sponsoring Financial Readiness (FinRed) Office operational environment. This ADL initiative/FinRed partnership serves to provide the Sen$se mobile app to all Service component members and families, while allowing for test and evaluation of mobile micro-learning and the Experience API (xAPI) for learner activity recording as prescribed in DODI 1322.26. Formative testing with various representative user groups for initial design and development purposes was validated with target end users of each of the Services components through summative in-person user experience testing. Further details about the summative testing can be found in the report titled "Financial Readiness Personal Assistant for Learning Summative Usability Test Results Report".
