Acquisition of High Performance Computing Instrument for Network Science Research and Education

Abstract

The objective of this proposal is to acquire an integrated high performance computing instrument for big data in network science research and education at University of Nevada Las Vegas. Accomplishments: Integrated high performance computing instrument for big data in network science research and education has been acquired. We have used the instrument for various big data research projects including data bridge system project, community detection for large networks project, a deep learning framework for network dynamics prediction project, and more than 50 class projects. We have also used the instrument for education and course delivery including big data analytics course, deep learning for big data course, and applied big data course.
