2014 Status of Forces Survey of Active Duty Members: Statistical Methodology Report

Abstract

This report describes the statistical methodologies for the 2014 Status of Forces Survey of Active Duty Members (2014 SOFS-A). The first section describes the sample design and selection of the sample. The second section describes weighting and variance estimation. The third section describes the multiple comparison statistical tests used for the 2014 SOFS-A. The final section describes the calculation of location, completion, and response rates for the full sample and population subgroups.
