2014 Status of Forces Survey of Active Duty Members: Leading Indicators Survey Note

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to summarize a briefing on leading indicators in the 2014 Status of Forces Survey of Active Duty Members. This briefing begins with a short introduction, followed by coverage of each of five topics: retention, satisfaction, tempo, stress, and readiness. The 2014 results are presented for each question for an additional 40 demographic subgroups. Trend comparisons are made for Service members overall, by Service, paygrade, and deployment status.
