U.S. Tidal Inlets Atlas: An Update to the CIRP Inlets Database

Abstract

This Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering Technical Note (CHETN) provides an update of the U.S. Federal Tidal Inlets Database originally developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Coastal Inlets Research Program (CIRP), under the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Navigation Research, Development, and Technology Program. A digital atlas has been deployed for data exploration and feature extraction using the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS Online (AGOL) portal for the USACE as a web-based map.
