Soft-Fault Resilience for Fine-Grained Parallel Incomplete Factorizations

Abstract

This document describes methodologies and algorithmic modifications to the fine-grained incomplete factorization that provide the algorithm with resilience to the occurrence of soft faults. Several variants of the original algorithm are proposed,and both symmetric and nonsymmetric problems are considered.
