A Comprehensive Study of Surface Defects in Traditional Type II InAs_GaSb Superlattices and Ga_free Type II_ Research Area 4_3_Electronic Sensing

Abstract

During this project several different test structures will be studied and compared. It is expected that the different samples will have different defect structures and defect densities. Analysis of these different test structures will be used to elucidate the defect formation mechanisms and study the evolution of defects. The overall trends can then be used to develop possible defect mitigation strategies.
