Reconfigurable Dual Band Power Amplifiers for Telemetry Applications
Abstract
Telemetry is a highly automated communication process by which measurements are made, data collected at remote or inaccessible sites and transmitted to receiving equipment for monitoring, displaying or recording. Originally, wired transmission had been used but now most commonly radio transmissions are used in the telemetry system. Some of the major applications of telemetry are monitoring electric power plants, collecting meteorological data, monitoring manned and unmanned space flights, and oceanography.
