2018 University of California Chemical Symposium
Abstract
Major Goals: Host a UC wide chemistry conference for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Accomplishments: Key Achievements-Approximately 120 graduate students and post-doctoral scholars presented on cutting edge research from across the UC system. -Nine campuses of the University of California system were represented. -The only conference organized, run, and attended by graduate student/post-doctoral scholars alone across all UC campuses in any discipline area. Training Opportunities: Conference Presentations This work is the hosting of a major research conference; hosting 40 poster presentations, 20 short oral presentations, and approximately sixty long oral presentations. All presentations were made by graduate students and post-doctoral scholars in the University of California system.
