Literature Summary: Best Practices in Situational Judgment Test (SJT) Development

Abstract

The U.S. Air Force is exploring the use of a situational judgment test (SJT) as a potential augmentation to the Weighted Airman Promotion System.SJTs are frequently used to assess more complex relational skills, such as interpersonal skills and leadership. SJTs present respondents with problemscenarios and a set of possible response options.
