Abstract

The Goal Of This Project Is To Develop A Set Of Methods, Framework And Software To Predict Distortion And Reduce The Setup Time For Machining Of Large Casting, Such As Complex Cored Valve Bodies, Locomotive Truck Frame, Military Vehicle Components, And To Virtually Eliminate Scrapping Any Of These High Value Parts.
