Core Competencies for Amputation Rehabilitation

Abstract

This report documents research and analysis conducted as part of a project entitled Core Competencies for Amputation Rehabilitation, sponsored by the U.S. Army Medical Command. The purpose of this study was to identify which services are integral to optimal amputee care and to define and document core competencies for each of these services to guide clinical rehabilitative care for service members who experience deployment-related extremity amputation(s).
