Metformin Therapy for Fanconi's Anemia

Abstract

This award pertains to the treatment of the inherited bone marrow failure syndrome Fanconis Anemia. Specifically, the commonly used diabetes drug metformin will be tested by itself and in combination with the current standard of care, anabolic steroids.
