Prenatal Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid Levels and Risk of Autism Spectrum Disorders
Abstract
Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) are dietary factors that play a critical role in fetal neurodevelopmental processes that have been implicated in the etiology of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It is not known whether prenatal PUFA levels influence risk of ASD.
