Fulldome Development for Interactive Immersive Training Capabilities

Abstract

Objectives and Intellectual Merit: The intellectual merit of this project lies in its ability to partner a unique minority-serving institution with diverse talents and resources to develop not only STEM-based curriculum, but timely research for emerging immersive Fulldome and other technologies. Our research goal is to improve the interactivity of immersive technology and develop supporting applications that can increase the training and educational capabilities of immersive environments.
