Automated Assessment of Postural Stability (AAPS)

Abstract

This is the final project report for Automated Assessment of Postural Stability (AAPS). AAPSand its successor xAAPS use commodity motion-capture tools and custom-built software to createcomputerized tests of balance and postural stability. These tests are designed specificallyfor use in austere military environments and are administered without the need for medical ortechnical experts. All project goals have been successfully met and have been disseminatedthrough numerous peer-reviewed conference and journal publications.
