Mesenchymal Stem Cell Control of Metastatic Prostate Cancer Cell Evolution and Therapy Resistance in the Bone Microenvironment

Abstract

The goal of this proposal is to examine the impact of interleukin-28 in promoting the resistance of prostate cancer cells in bone. In the first year of this award we have made significant progress in Aim 1 while Aim 2 and Aim 3 are underway. Resources for Aim 4 are currently being coordinated. Overall, we are on track with the stated milestones/objectives.
