Assistive and Autonomous Breast Ultrasound Screening: Improving PPV and Reducing RSI

Abstract

This report describes the third year of research activities on technologies that support sonographer-supervised robotic systems for breast ultrasound imaging with qualitative elastography, quantitative elastography, and shear-wave elastography. Major objectives achieved in this period include development and evaluation of algorithms for robotically assisted strain elastography that consider uncertainty.
