Assessment of the Psychological and Physiological Effects of Augmented Reality (APPEAR)-Psychological

Abstract

Slight deviation in Project Plan due to delay in approval by Human Research Protection Office. Approval was received 19 March 2020 and research on medical students began on 26 March 2020. UCI research team was able to complete research on 48 of the 72 medical students (66.7%) prior to state of California mandating all colleges / universities close, with medical students being sent home. We are optimistic medical students will return in the July / August 2020 timeframe so research can be completed on the remaining 24 students.
