A Statistical Study of Acquisition Time

Abstract

The time taken to complete an IT acquisition varies according to a number of key factors such as dollar value, procurement type, whether a bid protest was filed, and whether the acquisition went through the General Services Administration (GSA) approval process. The following information reflects how these factors affected the time to complete IT acquisitions in our sample.
