Secure Citizen Interaction Framework

Abstract

The interest in a Secure Citizen Channel applies to many agencies of government, including the Census Bureau, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), General Services Administration (GSA), Social Security Administration (SSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and others. Many alternative design solutions have been tried by different agencies with varying degrees of effectiveness. The MITRE Corporation (MITRE) has participated in several related cross-government working groups that provide specific technical information and real world benefits in this area.
