PLUS: Synthesizing Privacy, Lineage, Uncertainty and Security

Abstract

Privacy, lineage, uncertainty, and security are important to many information integration efforts, and these PLUS properties interact in a number of complex ways. This paper presents requirements and use cases for PLUS systems that gracefully handle those interactions. We describe related work, and present the goals of a new research project which is developing a theory and implementation of PLUS systems.
