Electronic Design and Fabrication of the PHAD Sensor

Abstract

This report provides the technical information needed to fabricate all sensor assemblies, cabling, and harnesses to assemble the main electronics unit for the Persistent Harmonic Acoustic Detector (PHAD) sensor. The electronic circuitry described in the report is for illustrative purposes only. To fabricate the PHAD amplifier and PHAD microphone preamplifier printed circuit boards, the source files must be provided to the fabrication house. The mechanical design, software, and algorithm for the PHAD sensor are not discussed in this report.
