The Chinese Way of War: How Has it Changed

Abstract

The report examines the Peoples Liberation Armys (PLA) way of war over the past 20 years. This methodology only looks at military sources and ignores the diplomatic, economic, and other sectors that China has penetrated with similar tactics and techniques. It is divided into three sections that coincide with the reigns of Chinas last three presidents: Jiang Zemin(1993-2003); Hu Jintao (2003-2013); and Xi Jinping (2013-present).
