USAID, Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership (DCCP)

Abstract

DCCP is a multi-year, global initiative that supports the development of an open, interoperable, reliable, and secure Internet through information and communications technology (ICT) development efforts in emerging markets. DCCP encourages fair competition, private sector-led investment, multi-stakeholder Internet governance, and strong cybersecurity practices. DCCP also provides tools needed to assist countries in the deployment of secure next-generation ICT infrastructure, including for 5th generation (5G) wireless networks. DCCP activities have mostly been implemented through global and regional mechanisms, summarized below. For more information on DCCP, contact Ashton Davis (DavisAB3@state.gov) and USAID/LABs Digital Inclusion Team (digitalinclusion@usaid.gov).
