Pitot-Statics and the Standard Atmosphere. Fourth Edition

Abstract

This textbook includes a chapter on the Standard Atmosphere and it relationship to flight testing as well as individual chapters on methods to measure altitude, airspeed, temperature, and associated errors in all measurements. Altitude and Airspeed pitot-static flight test techniques and details of various data reduction methods are discussed. Appendices include all the mathematical equations and derivations as well as providing practical examples of the various techniques.
