The 1st Infantry Division, during the reporting period, continued in in the performance of its general missions: (a) Destruction of main force V/NVA forces, equipment, and base camps (b) In conjunction with GVN forces, the identification and destruction of local force VC and infrastructure in order to provide a secure environment to further GVN control over the area and people (c) Overwatch of the TAOI
