One Hundred Thirty-Sixth Meeting of the Military Armistice Commission

Abstract

At the 225th, 226th, 227th and 228th Secretaries meeting held recently, our side lodged vigorous protests with your side against the flagrant violations of the Armistice Agreement it has committed by dispatching its naval vessels of various types into the coastal waters of our side almost every day since the first days of the New Year, and made repetitive demands that your side punish its personnel involved in conformity with the terms of the Armistice Agreement and take thorough going measures to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents. Such demands of our side were not only in full agreement with the requirement and provisions of the Armistice Agreement, but also quite reasonable ones aimed to eliminate the tension in Korea and convert the armistice into a peace.
