Distributed System Level Thermal Management of High Transient Heat Loads using Microchannel Evaporators

Abstract

This project has conducted simulation and experimental study of microchannel cooling systems, with an emphasis on the mitigation of flow instabilities and the dynamic control of the system performance in the presence of transient heat loads. Results from this project has enhanced our ability to handle multiple evaporators experiencing asynchronous transient heat loads.
