Improvements Needed in Management of Training Under the Government Employees Training Act

Abstract

House Report 329, issued June 1, 1967, identified problems in employee training in the Federal government and recommended improvements. The General Accounting Office (GAO) reviewed the Department of Defense (DOD) management of its employee training program at 14 installations to see what had been done in response to the recommendations and to determine the current status of the program.
