Information on Management and Use of the Radio Frequency Spectrum: A Little-Understood Resource

Abstract

The radio frequency spectrum is the range of radio frequencies used to transmit information from one place to another without connecting wires. The radio frequency spectrum is one of the least understood of natural resources. This study was made because over $90 billion has been invested in the United States for spectrum dependent electronics equipment. About 55 percent of this represents the Federal Governments investment
