RAbel: A Program to Replay Abel Version 2.2

Abstract

The description of a graphics software tool used to view and manipulate data file is presented. The software is implemented to run in the IDL@ environment on any platform. RAbel is able to read data from files in the ADAM format, a SACLANTCEN standard used to save data acquired using the ABEL system. The software has a sophisticated graphic user interface which simplifies loading and scanning of data files. The program is also able to perform simple operations on the data: enveloping, zooming, filtering, etc. This report is intended as a detailed description of the implementation a t a source code level. A short introduction to the program capability is given.
