Naval Reserve Drill And Personnel Field Reporting System Needs Improvement

Abstract

The Naval Reserve Drill and Personnel Field Reporting System has not yet overcome many of the inadequacies of theprevious system. Human errors and system defects are extensive and result in manyreservists' receiving erroneous payments and incorrect retirement credits. Managementalso receives inaccurate, untimely, and insufficient pay and personnel informationwhich adversely affects efficient and responsive decisionmaking.
