Corporate Knowledge for Government Decisionmakers: Insights on Screening, Vetting, and Monitoring Processes

Abstract

The U.S. government's (USGs) screening and vetting process seeks to ensure that those who work for or on behalf of the federal government can be trusted to serve in positions where they may handle classified or otherwise sensitive information, material, people, or property that could pose risks to national security or public trust if not properly protected. As of 2020, the Trusted Workforce 2.0 efforts are transforming the federal vetting process to improve performance and efficiency.
