Tackling Complex Problems: Analysis of the AN/TPQ 53 Counterfire Radar

Abstract

The performance of combat systems can be affected by a wide variety of operating conditions, threat types, system operatingmodes, and other physical factors. The character of the resulting multivariate test data can preclude simple or standardanalysis methodologies. IDAs analysis methods rely on a variety of advanced statistical techniques to provide a bettercharacterization of system capabilities than the techniques historically used to evaluate test results of combat systems.
