Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targeting of NSD2 in Advanced Prostate Cancer

Abstract

This project aims at elucidating the causal role of Nsd2 in in aggressive prostate cancer progression and its contribution to lineage plasticity, AR cistrome remodeling and anti-AR treatment resistance. It also wants to explore the potential use of Nsd2 as a therapeutic target and response biomarker. To do so a series of objectives and tasks were defined in the Statement of Work (see below) and this 2nd year progress report will summarize de accomplishments and reached milestones as well as the deviations from the original methodology and the justification for such changes.
