Assessment of the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) Response of a Fiber Optic Sight (FOS)

Abstract

The modulation transfer function (MTF) of a fiber optic sight direct view optic (DVO) was tested to show potential performance benefits. The MTF tests were also evaluated with representative optical filters to resemble real-life, fielded conditions.
