MxD Final Report Project 14-10-01. AVM Standards Development and Promulgation

Abstract

This project was charged with creating a set of branded DMDII standards for the DMDII community centered around the AVM (Adaptive Vehicle Make) research program whose intent is to automate certain product design and manufacturing planning and execution functions. Various projects made up the AVM research program and focused on model based design and engineering workflow and tools to provide services that would improve aspects of these activities. The findings from this project are complied into a recommendation for standards adoption and system architecture along with the branded set of standards and architecture that will best serve the industry.
