Arctic Warfare Overview

Abstract

Climate whats expected, but weather what you get. The scope of this paper will illustrate the implications of Arctic Warfare such as: Terrain, Potential Threats in Cold Weather Regions, The Conduct of Operations, and Experiences of Military Operations in Cold Weather Regions. Thecombination of weather conditions and the lack of proper training, and the proper equipment can cause cold weather conditions to drastically limit the militarys readiness and operational capabilities.
