Military Affairs Part 2: Austria-Hungary

Abstract

The Military Affairs of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, 2d part, is here presented in the most concise form and, in order to meet a widely felt need, giving the subject matter both in text and by illustration. By this method much of that which would otherwise be difficult to understand clearly is pictured vividly before the eyes, so that it becomes easy to master the details. Since in our military schools there is no chair devoted to the navy, it has been deemed important, especially in view of the enlargement of our sea power, as well as the general interest taken in the same, to give in this compilation for the information of every one a graphic presentation of this branch of the service, where much would otherwise be hard to comprehend.
