Audit of U.S. Transportation Command Cargo Scheduling Effectiveness (Project No. D2020-D000RG-0145.000)

Abstract

We plan to begin the subject audit in June 2020. The objective of this audit is to determine whether Military Departments requested timely airlift and sealift cargo movements through the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) in accordance with DoD guidance. We may revise the objective as the audit proceeds, and we will also consider suggestions from management on additional or revised objectives. We will perform the audit at USTRANSCOM, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and relevant offices within the Departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. We may identify additional locations during the audit.
