DOD Should Restructure the March Air Force Base Test of Veterans Administration-developed Software

Abstract

The Chairman of the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations and House Committee on Veterans' Affairs asked us to review the Tri-Service Medical Information System (TRIMIS) Program. The Department of Defense (DOD) established this program to consolidate Navy, Army, and Air Force efforts in developing computer systems for their hospitals and clinics.
