81st Division Gas Officer Reports

Abstract

Gas shelling Nov. 9th to Nov. 11th, 1918. The gas shelling as shown on the accompanying report, was intermittent, covering a period of fifty one hours. This shelling occurred during an advance of this division and was a mixture of gas, shrapnel, and high explosive. The gas shells were not apparently concentrated on any particular locality, but merely a part of the general barrage over the entire sector.
