Abstract

In this new day and age of unconventional battle field we must adjust are focus to a different kind of fight. The history the U.S. Army clearly shows that we have spent the majority of our training to be prepared for the conventional battlefield. Relatively little doctrine has been wrote on the unconventional battle field; Even though the U.S. has been fighting counterinsurgency since the beginning of this nations establishment. We must learn from our history and let it show us what we need and how we should prepare for future battles.
