Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Guidebook

Abstract

The Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Guidebook was developed to advance knowledge of the Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) threat and introduce the reader to select tools, processes, and activities to counter the WMD threat. The project is divided into CWMD mission topics: CWMD terminology, strategic environment, the competition continuum, CWMD through the lens of the elements of national power, identification of the range of CWMD activities, legal instruments for CWMD, and an application of CWMD by military leaders.
