Intelligence After Next: The Future of the IC Workplace

Abstract

The Intelligence Community (IC) is at a strategic decision point. The reality of the massive disruption from COVID-19 and the potential for future pandemics compel immediate action to break down entrenched IC barriers to working outside of dedicated classified workplaces. Various pre-COVID-19 publications have forwarded suggestions for considering some degree of telework in the IC. Herein we dive deeper, providing a holistic view of the ICs interoperability challenges and a roadmap for success. Two major benefits from this shift are achieving 21st century operational resiliency and growing and sustaining the trusted workforce.
